How It All Started

Traditional Healing Arts began in a small, humble room tucked away in a local gym. It was there that Steph and Andy first started offering treatments — a quiet space where they supported clients through pain, stress, and imbalance. But as time went on, it became clear that this little room wasn’t enough. Their vision was growing, and so was the need for more space — not just physically, but energetically. They needed room to breathe, to expand, and to help more people heal.

After months of reflection, careful planning, and trust in the process, they took a leap and opened the doors to a larger, dedicated space — one rooted in their shared purpose.

Long before this expansion, Steph and Andy had already discovered their path. Healing wasn’t just something they did — it was who they were. Their calling was to help others reconnect with themselves, to teach people how to care for their bodies and minds, and to honour the traditions that had shaped their own journeys. For them, healing was never about quick fixes — it was about coming home to yourself.

The dragonfly became a symbol of that journey. In many cultures, it represents transformation, rebirth, and clarity — a perfect reflection of what healing truly is. Like the dragonfly, every person who walks through THA’s doors is given space to transform and grow, supported by ancient practices that have stood the test of time.

At its core, Traditional Healing Arts is exactly what it sounds like: a return to tradition, to wisdom, to the foundations of Chinese medicine. It’s about slowing down, tuning in, and learning how to heal — deeply, gently, and with intention
